The company is primarily responsible for the construction, production, operation, and management of a natural gas-based fine chemicals project with an annual capacity of 80,000 tons. The project is based on proprietary technology for producing hydrogen cyanide from natural gas and manufacturing its downstream products, independently developed by Sichuan Natural Gas Chemical Research Institute, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sichuan Chemical Group. Using natural gas and ammonia as its primary raw materials, the project synthesizes hydrogen cyanide, which is further processed into products including iminodiacetonitrile, anilinoacetonitrile, sodium ferrocyanide, diaminomaleonitrile, azo initiators, orthoformates, mandelic acid, and pyrimidine.
